Mouse input single click: Left click to select a file or action a command button. Right click to open a context menu

Mouse input left click and hold, to drag and drop: Left click and hold down, over an item, then drag and drop it to a new location – lift finger off the button to drop

Mouse input double left click: Double-click the left button to open a file or shortcut on the Desktop. Tip. Single left click on a file to select, then press Enter to open as this always works. Double-click fails if the mouse moves even slightly

Mouse input scroll wheel simple use: Push the scroll wheel away to move up and towards you, to move down a web page (or through options). Click the scroll wheel to see the scroll icon then move the mouse up and down to move up and down a webpage, click again to return to the normal pointer

Mouse input scroll wheel advanced use: Click the scroll wheel to see the scroll icon then move the mouse up and down or left and right to move around a webpage, document or spreadsheet. Click again to return to the normal pointer

Mouse tip: lift the mouse completely off the mouse mat then put it back down further in, to extend the reach. Twisting to the left or right does not affect the position of the cursor and can damage your wrist
