Read a message: Tap on the message title to open a message. See the date and time it was received

Reply to a message: Open a message then tap in the message box at the bottom then type or dictate text . Only send pictures via the green text message system (for android and iPhones) if you have a network contract that includes MMS – Multi-Media Messaging Service, and be aware android phones will not receive them if they don’t have MMS contracts. iMessages are blue and only work between Apple iPhones and iPads and allow you to send voice notes, photos, Memoji Stickers, Music and more at no cost

New message: Tap on the new message square, add recipient, type or dictate text then tap on the send arrow

Edit Messages: Tap on Edit in top left and see options to Select Messages, Edit Pins or Edit Name and Photo

Search messages: Tap in the Search box at the top then type the word or name you want to search for

Change Settings for Messages: Open main iPhone Settings ❯ Messages then see options for Notifications and other areas
